Digitization is the large scale conversion of an organization’s paper records into a digital format.

Over the last decade or two, Digitization is becoming widely used as a solution to address issues of data mismanagement, loss and degradation. Digitization is inherent to the success of an Automated System which is reliant on paperless processing. At TCPD, Digitization will:

1. Repair 100% of damaged TCPD Plotting maps and subdivision layouts from all four (4 ) regional offices
2. Scan approximately 145,000 files, 7,300 plotting maps and layouts
3. Digitize all records and deposit in a central database for easy access throughout the TCPD
