Town and Country Planning Division Public Notice
Effective April 30 2021, the North Regional Office (NRO) of the Town and Country Planning Division (TCPD) will cease the acceptance of manual applications for Stamp Duty Exemption Correspondence & Status of Land Correspondence within the T1 and T5 Planning Regions.
Applications for the two new e-services will be submitted via DevelopTT, the online digital service of the Town and Country Planning Division of the Ministry of Planning and Development

Notices have been placed in the printed dailies notifying the public, effective April 30 2021, that the North Regional Office of the Town and Country Planning Division will only accept online application submissions for Stamp Duty Exemption Correspondence & Status of Land Correspondence that fall within the T1 and T5 Planning Regions. These applications can be submitted through DevelopTT, TCPD’s online platform at www.developtt.gov.tt. Visit the TCPD website, www.tcpd.gov.tt or contact 612-3000 ext. 2160 for further information.

The Minister of Planning and Development authorized the launch of two additional online services as part of the DevelopTT online construction permitting platform. The services were up and running from Monday 8 February, 2021. The system has accepted applications from the T1 & T5 Planning Regions; the T1 Planning Region includes properties/sites located within the North Regional area inclusive of the Port of Spain City Corporation and the Diego Martin and San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporations. T5 Region’s boundaries include: Chaguanas Borough Corporation; Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation; portions of the San Juan/ Laventille and Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporations.
Stamp Duty Exemption Correspondence and Status of Land Correspondence are now paperless applications and letters of certification will be received digitally. The addition of these services aims to further enhance government’s goals of digitising public services and making it easier to do business in Trinidad and Tobago.
